A Sneak Peek Inside Wifey’s House
I’m back from my BlogHer or Bust Road Trip and am now on the road to recovery. I learned many things on this journey including I’m not as young as I used to be. Gasp! After traveling in one car with four women through three states in five days I’m completely and utterly exhausted.
We had an incredible experience together, one that has warmed my heart and made life-long friendships. I was struggling with what to post today until I read Jennifer’s (Baby Making Machine). After wiping my tears away, I decided that she so eloquently wrapped up the weekend, I could simply share her words with you. Click here to read The BlogRollers Goodbye: New Sisters.
We bonded. Maintaining relationships with girlfriends often gets put aside as we scurry through life focused on our husbands, our children and our careers. I’m so thankful for the wonderful reminder I received this weekend to cherish all my friendships with all my girls! Thanks Christie, Denene, and Jennifer for the good conversation, for sharing your wisdom, for the laughter and most importantly for your friendship.

I am so loving all this BlogHer stories that I'm reading especially those of the Blogrollers. You all are making insanely jealous :):):) But I still love all of you. Thanks for tweeting out to us when you could.
Awwwww, Wifey! Young Un sure did write a moving post, didn't she? But so did you. I had SUCH a wonderful time getting to know you, bonding, sharing, sermonizing, laughing—being—with each of you. Thank you for being my friend. (If that sounded much too sappy, add a coupla bleeps in, and turn on The Chronic or any unedited song by The Notorious B.I.G.—that oughta fix that! LOL!!!!)
Love you, baby!
What a fabulous opportunity for you all! I'm so glad you got forge these friendships and have a wonderful time in the process...
I wanna roll next year! I read it's in NYC. I'm skipping the family reunion!
glad you had a fun trip! heading over to read her post.
Stopping by to say hello and to read the Jenn's story.
Good times always go so fast...don't they?
I am sooo there next year. I want to see all the fun first hand!
I think it's awesome that you had an opportunity to do that and share such a wonderful time bonding. Women tend to be on the bottom on the list of priorities when it comes to taking time out for themselves; so it's good to see/hear of women who do.
I'm going to gather a couple of my girls and do something.
Love to live; live to love!
It truly seems like you all had a great time. I am glad you guys truly bonded and created life long friendships. Again thank you for making us all feel like part of the trip between the tweets and the radio show.

Sounds like the blogrollers had a ball. If the smiles on all of your faces every time I saw you were an indication - I KNOW it was great. Now I am off to read Jen's post.
You are so right and now that one of my closest friends moved to California, I'm sad that I didn't spend more time with her. I guess I gotta do better with the ones that are here.
I'm sooooo glad you guy's are back and had a safe trip!:) Wow, what an awesome experience! I'm definitely making the next blog conference! No more staying at home 4 me:)
