Food, Glorious Food!

In light of my quest to shed seventeen pounds I’ve decided to eat clean for a week – not just eat healthy but really buckle down and take the advice of one of my favorite fitness divas, Tosca Reno. Six meals, before 6 p.m., and lots of water.
Some of my meals so far …
Yup, a protein shake in a beer glass. That’s just how I roll.
Green beans and scrambled egg whites – delicious!
Broccoli, brown rice and tilapia. Eating clean sure doesn’t taste so bad.
Not only am I expecting to shed a few pounds, but I’m sure I’ll feel better and have more energy, too. I’m going to need it since I get to return to running this week.

Good luck all that food looks delicious, I'm sure you'll do well if you carry on like that. I need to take a leaf out of your book, and drop a few pounds too!
mmmm! looks terrific. how did you cook that tilapia (seasonings)? it looks delicious!

Ditto Sandy's comment...how did your flavor the tilapia and are you using anything to make the rice more edible??
Thanks, Ladies! I drizzled a little olive oil on it, which is great, and seasoned it with Old Bay, which is probably not. I need to find some lower sodium seasoning options, but it was absolutely delish! And, the rice, sometimes I'll splash a tad of olive oil for flavor on it too, some crazy pepper, sea salt (just a little) and maybe one or two more seasonings pending on my mood.
It looks good, but honestly I would be STARVING; that's not enough food for me!
Looks yummy Wifey! Im sure u'll do fab with ur goal! xoxox
Woohoo for getting back to running! You meals look delicious, yet healthy :)
Try Mrs. Dash seasonings on tilapia. The citrus flavor in it makes up for the lack of salt. And I love my salt!
