Blogalicious: The Wow Factor

Monday, October 12, 2009

The first annual Blogalicious Conference took place this past weekend in Atlanta and the first word that comes to mind is wow. Not only because “Your Wow Factor” was the theme of the conference but because the founders of the conference – the three lovely Justices from MamaLaw – really wowed everyone.

Everything about this conference delivered.

The content was excellent. The speakers and sessions were knowledgeable and informative.

The attendees were phenomenal. Intelligent, fun ladies excited to network and learn. (Yes, the conference is geared toward women of color but ALL races and ethnicities were welcomed and present. One of my favorite blog buddies, Bantering Blonde, summed up her experience about the conference here.)

The sponsors and swag were thoughtful and purposeful. There were wonderful events, exhibits and goodies that fit the target audience.

The W Hotel was stylish and swanky. And the food was absolutely delish!

The parties were fun and fabulous. Not only because The BlogRollers hosted one, ahem, but ALL of the parties were ones you didn’t want to miss.

Wow. Blogalicious09 raised the bar for blogging conferences. Kudos to MamaLaw and their title sponsor Sunkissed Mommy. It was first class, no drama and the best conference I’ve been to all year. In fact, I’m already packing my bikini (a girl can dream can’t she?) for Blogalicious10 in Miami.

I can tell you all had a ball. And the virtual party I attended was off the hook. You made a gal really feel like she was there. That's what I'm talking about.

*still speechless* I'll be back when I can articulate how remarkable the weekend was. All I can say is don't miss it next year.

I am so in next year, saving NOW! I hate traveling alone, so I must find a bloggy buddy from my area to attend with.

Thank you love ... I'm glad you had a good time. BTW, people, The BlogRollers party was awesome - think about this, when the conference founders don't have shoes on at the end of the night, you know it was a good party!

Thanks for your support and we'll see you next year.

OK. How did you and Christie both post the same picture of me? LOL! I so enjoyed spending the weekend with you. I already knew you were fab but spending this time with you really showed me why my sister adores you. You are truly a wonderful person and I glad I get to hang with such a cool chick. Yall put it down at the party. Blogrollers represent!
