Raising Talented Teens: Disney's Dreamers Academy

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Last February I had the pleasure of covering Disney’s Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey for Heart & Soul magazine. The Dreamers Academy selects 100 high school students nationwide to travel to Walt Disney World Resort for a weekend to take part in an innovative career inspiring program that includes interactive workshops, motivational talks, hands-on creative experiences and loads of fun. I was thrilled to witness the magic and the passion the teens, the Disney team and Steve Harvey poured into the event.

My article, “Raising Talented Teens” is in the current issue of Heart & Soul magazine.

The third annual Disney’s Dreamers Academy will take place February 11- 14, 2010. They are accepting applications thru October 2. If you know a teen that would like to take part in this life-changing program, click here for more details.

Too bad Bailey is too young for this. Maybe in a few years - something to keep our eyes on. Thanks, Wifey!
